EFFECTPOP
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
This policy covers EffectPop at effectpop.com. For support or a question about information handled by this website, contact the EffectPop operator at meng@opslumo.com.
Your photos, videos, audio and captions
The four current video tools process selected media and typed captions on your device. These files and captions are not sent to our server for rendering, stored in an EffectPop media library or published by EffectPop.
Your browser holds media and preview data during the editing session. Closing or reloading the editor ends that session. A file you export and download remains on your device until you delete it. Your browser and operating system may maintain their own caches or file history.
EffectPop has no server copy of media edited only in your browser. Use material you are permitted to use, and avoid including confidential information.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare delivers this website and helps protect it from abuse. Normal requests reveal technical information to the hosting service, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Hosting and security services use this information to deliver pages, operate the service, detect abuse and diagnose problems.
Cloudflare may process information in different countries and retain operational data under its service terms and privacy policy. Browser-local rendering does not mean that ordinary website requests reveal no information.
Website usage measurement
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referral sources, device categories and page performance. Its analytics beacon sends website usage and performance measurements to Cloudflare. We do not send the media files, captions or names you enter in the editor to analytics.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors’ personal data and does not track individual visitors across its customers’ websites. Read the Web Analytics overview and data collection explanation. Usage measurement is separate from optional advertising.
Your advertising choice
Where Adsterra advertising is enabled, we ask you to accept or reject it before loading its advertising code. Rejecting optional advertising does not prevent use of the video tools. You can change your decision through Privacy choices in the website footer.
We store your choice and its timestamp on your device in a localStorage entry named effectpop-ad-consent-v1. The choice expires after 180 days. Clearing this website’s browser storage removes the saved choice. This storage remembers a privacy preference and does not contain your media.
Withdrawing consent stops future optional advertising requests. It does not delete information an advertising provider has already received. You can clear cookies through your browser and use a provider’s privacy controls.
Advertising providers
Optional advertising helps support the free tools. An advertising provider may receive technical information and ad interactions when its code runs, and may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies. Our media files and editor captions are not supplied to the advertising provider.
Adsterra
Adsterra may provide optional banner advertising while Google AdSense review is pending. Its policies explain its processing and available choices. Read the Adsterra privacy policy and cookies policy. An advertisement does not mean EffectPop endorses an advertiser’s claims.
Google advertising
Google advertising is planned. It will be enabled only after this website is approved and the applicable consent management is configured. Adsterra will be removed when this site is approved for the Google advertising switch.
When Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center.
Google and other participating advertising vendors have their own privacy controls. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google privacy policy. You may also use advertising industry opt-out tools for participating vendors.
Before serving Google advertising that requires consent management, we will use the applicable consent message. Personalized Google advertising for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland requires a Google-certified consent management platform. The current Adsterra choice control does not replace that platform.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to handle your request and related correspondence. Please do not send passwords, API keys or sensitive media. We keep correspondence while needed to address the request, maintain relevant records or meet applicable obligations.
A mail link opens your chosen email application. Your email provider also handles the message under its own terms and policy.
Your rights and questions
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent. Email meng@opslumo.com to ask about information handled by EffectPop. We may need enough information to identify the relevant request and verify that it is yours.
For information a hosting or advertising provider handles independently, use that provider’s contact method or privacy controls. You may also have the right to raise a concern with a data protection authority in your location.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website’s data practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. A future feature that uploads media or sends prompts to an AI service will have an updated explanation before it is enabled.
